Relating Science to Developmental Stages and Belief Systems
All humans develop their cognitive abilities in stages. These mirror the development of a belief system, which usually also strongly represents the particular social and cultural beliefs shaping that individual. The brain is the processor of sensory and perceptual experience, as well as the interpreter (belief system) and memory holder. These brain processes are shaped by each person during their lifetime. As well, many believe that the collective experience is shaped and shared.
