Understanding the Science of Consciousness

Awareness of self and differentiation from others is a usual part of the stages of human development. The ability to communicate with others and an understanding of the universe occurs later. To some degree, humans are fairly slow in understanding consciousness, as the learning experiences are not quite as dramatic as understanding gravity.
